During the 2003/2004 school year a drop-ceiling complete with twice the amount of light fixtures was installed throughout the hallways of Bellview Middle. The ceiling gives the school a much more modern clean look as it covers up pipes and wires put in place for the computer network, air conditioning system, and closed circuit television. All the ceiling tiles in the classrooms were replaced as well.
